How did you react?

This is something I never expected to hear....

"Oh, you need special pregnancy care because you are "Advanced Maternal Age".

I felt like she was saying..."Calling all pregnant Senior Citizens....line up here!"

I guess 37 is above 35 and I didn't know they drew the line there for "Geriatic pre-natal care" :-)

I never thought I would hear......MYSELF say....

"Because I said so"!!! I don't know, somewhere along the 37th "why", but why, but why....I lost it. Not a screaming phrase, but still, I told myself I would never say that to my son.

I try not to yell at my daughter too, but have to admit that the other day when she came up and unexpectedly bit me on the butt, I yelled! Alot!

Also, what exactly do you say when same daughter hugs you oh-so-adoringly and then kisses you on the butt?

They are getting Soooo strict in daycare and early school about ANY touching or talking about privates, even though these are little innocent children who are naturally curious, not sexual preditors. I understand why it has to be stressed so young, but it's sad. I had to show my son a man's wee-wee online (from an encyclopedia!!!) so he would not be so curious at school about other's because I am a single Mom without a Dad at home to see.

What would you do if a boy the same age as her kissed her on the butt?
