Found this walking home from the park yesterday … had to laugh!I’ve been a little down and prone to navel-gazing lately, so decided to lighten up a bit today.  It is warmish and sunnyish after all, and while I might be hoping for a good foot of snow to play in, I’m not too bummed that I can still wear my flip-flops when I run to the corner store!

1. 5 or so in the works, but finished The Lightning Thief last week I think.
2. Left, Douglas is our only rightie.
3. 9 ... will be 10 next month!
4. That I remember, probably the horrid ear infection when I was 30 where I couldn't walk. Had something like dysentery at 9 months and am told I barely made it. Never broken a bone or spent time in the hospital yet, thank God!

4) I once tripped and put my hands out to break my fall which broke my left hand and jammed the right. Not good, especially when you have two babies.

5 and a half

Had three tumors removed from my ovaries, one the size of a grapefruit. God bless the surgeon who saved the ovaries so I could be a mom for 5 and a half years!

That's a tough one, but since my favorite comfort book is/are Lord of the Rings, maybe Frodo. Is that weird? Some days I sure feel like all the ringwraiths are after me and where the hell is the fellowship? Or maybe Eowyn, who when faced with the towering Wraith sneering "No man may defeat the Nazgul" yells "I am no Man!" and kills him. Ha. At the very least I think we have proved here that I am a geek. :)
